The Saint Yon Trade Training Centre is located within LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown. The facility strives to offer industry-based training options in numerous trades. This is achieved by maintaining up to date training resources and technology which reflect the changing demands of today’s work environment. 

Offering a range of vocational qualifications to both full-time and part-time students Saint Yon allows students to potentially finish Year 12 with their HSC as well as a trade qualification. Including a vocational option as part of their HSC can allow students to gain a head start on their post school career either by undertaking a School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT), or by completing the course, gaining advanced standing or recognition when undertaking further study. Our courses also allow students to gain practical hands-on skills and to develop the core employability skills sought after by employers such as problem solving and teamwork.

All courses are delivered by qualified trainers who have current industry experience in their teaching area.

Saint Yon, being part of the LaSalle Catholic College, offers courses to both our LaSalle Bankstown students as well as students from Catholic and Independent schools across Sydney.
