UEE22020 – Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)

This qualification covers competencies for work entry program providing a grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.


HSC INFORMATION
This is a Board Developed Course.  Students who complete the 240-hour course may sit for the optional HSC exam, and their marks may contribute to the calculation of their ATAR.


UNITS
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in

  • 410 weighting points
    • 270 core weighting points plus
    • 140 general elective points.

  • UEECD0046 Solve problems in single-path circuits
  • UEECD0038 Provide solutions and report on routine electrotechnology problems
  • UEECD0051 Use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes and specifications
  • UEECD0019 Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components
  • UEECD0020 Fix and secure electrotechnology equipment
  • UEERE0021 Provide basic sustainable energy solutions for energy reduction in residential premises
  • UEECD0052 Use routine equipment/plant/technologies in an energy sector environment
  • UEECD0021 Identify and select components, accessories and materials for energy sector work activities
  • UEEEC0060 Repairs basic electronic apparatus faults by replacement of components
