Work, Health and Safety laws require specific clothing to be worn by a person in specific work situations to minimise risk to their health and safety. Clothing must be smart, safe and practical. Uniforms must allow mobility and comfort, and allow for good hand hygiene, meaning shirts should not fall below the elbows, jewellery is not permitted and hair must be tied back at all times.

No deviation to material, styles or colour will be permitted at Saint Yon Trade Training Centre. All uniform requirements can be purchased at your local stores. Only purchase the colour combination displayed below.

Students must be in full work-wear uniform at the commencement for practical lessons at Saint Yon as directed by their trainer and whilst on work placement. In the event of non-compliance, the student will risk non-completion of competencies. This will be recorded by the teacher/trainer. All students are expected to watch demonstrations and practical work being conducted in the training room from a safe distance in the event of uniform infringements. Repeat infringements will be treated seriously and may result in an incompetent grade and therefore jeopardise achieving the full certificate in the course.
